AccessGuard (AG) permit to register in a  PC (enrollment station) the figerprints of the users. The relatives template will be download in AG (if work off-line) or remains in the PC (if AG work connecte in a net (TCP/IP) - it's valid also the mixed soluction).
All the data are exchanged between the (enrolment, monitor, AG, etc) in coded modality.

AccessGuard and SystemGuard have a system of finger reading patented and original (BioSensor GuardWare_White_Paper (pdf)) that allows at the beginning, by a sensor, to analyze the finger and recognize it, discarding the false ones, and only after activate the optical scanning of the finger, also this patented. 

The user is driven in the operations to do thanks to a small screen LCD. AG has a little keyboard to insert password or code; has also a rilevator of proximity card and optionally of contact smartcard. 

AG, has a Pentium processor working in Linux, has inside

• 3 relay output to activate locks/alarms/ ecc.
• 3 Opto-isolated input ( movement/alarms/ecc.. rilevator)
• 1 Wiegand / Clock&Data input
• 1 Wiegand / Clock&Data output

• 1 port RS485 with 4 fili

• 1 port RS485 with 2 fili

Thanks to this ports, the connection from AG and external instruments doesn't need more cards or devices; also the feeds could be done by AG, if sufficient for the type of device.
One box AG can control untill 2 unitsof fingerprints finding: for exemple to manage the output, ecc..

The software is complete; for exemple:

• during the enrollment you can registe as many fingerprints you want  for every user. one of these could be defined "for allarm": when this finger will used, arrive to the Monitor PC an advice: for exemple the user could be enter forced by someone else armed. 
• The users will be divided in belonginga groups; will be definied more timetable of access and at every group will have his timetable.  A group could be the group of ex workers: you register the attempt of access but you don't open them the door, you could send a messege af allarm. 
• For every area can be dfined different condiction of access: for exemple not more of a number of users...
• The level of security con be modified for single fingerprints without modify the level of security of all the system. Every AG can be made with different level of security.
• Can be definied users that enter only with the card of proximity, with or without PIN, with validity limited in the time.
• Every registered transiction will be registered in a file Log (MS Access) from witch easy bring to others applications.

Every operation is created automatically by the system by easy shielded of configuration, or can be realized easy script. Moreover is disponible the Sofware Development Kit to adapt your systam to specific requirement or to integrate in different society soluctions. Usefull utility permit the import and /or integration of the database (users, events log)
