Biometrics register an order for 2 milions of euro from Gemplus
France
Precise
Biometrics has defined an accord with Gemplus, the French company
leader in the smartcard. It means that Gemplus will buy reader of
digital fingerprints for over 2 milions of euro: The order is for
Precise 100 SC, that use biometric technology and smartcard.
6-9-2000 The Pentagon

After a
scrupulous process of evaluation, the american Department of Defense
has buyed and istalled in the Pentagon an inthegrated soluction of
security presentated from Biometrics and Spyrus. The system was
selected to be a pilot for the protection of notebook. Precise
Biometrics won vs many socety that was offering soluction based on
the biometry, smartcard and cryptography.

at InfoSecurity Europe 2000 in London.

transition signed with biometric confirmation by the fingerprint

of Genova, the first that realized a digital sign prodouct approved by
italian law, presents in Omat (Milano - 3/2000) Digital Sign Touch
where the digital signature is surely put by his legal owner by the
identification of his digital fingerprints, registered in the same
smartcard.
