Chard Cafe Lite
Chard Cafe is a progrm
thinked for the Internet Café, school and to all the
organization tha want give the use of PC and progarms in
controlled and eventually payed; it use advanced technologies as
smartcard and Access database to offer a complete, sure and
controlled soluction.
The program is an
application in Windows XP enviromentIl that start when you open
your PC.
The
application needs:
 LAN
or PC stand alone working with Windows XP (Home/Professional)
and internet connection by Ethernet or by phone
Use
all the news ASE III reader (internal, serial, USB)
In
the chase of LAN, the Access Database is installed in a server
operating with every Windows. Others 50MB of space are requested
on the server. This server can be a Web/mailserver.

printer, possibly laser or inkjet, where print the report
The main
functions of the program are:
Block
of every use of the PC if in isn't insert a valid Smartcard.
When
a valid Smartcard is inserted, the system will connect to the
database, recognize the user, activate the configuration and
make the pc usable and the local programs or the internet
connection previously setted up.
The
user can use the system for all the evidenced time
The
cost for time unit can vary for every day of the week or wrap
hour; it is possible to create users groups with different rate.
The
same could be utilized as eletronic pocket to obtain other
service/prodoucts.
Every
PC can have different program installed and disponible.The
administrator of the system decide the program to install and
make usable.
There
are different levels of control of the access to the system:
associates and administrators. By the level of the smartcard
every user connect to the system with different prerogatives.
